A well rounded group of CS:S gamers who play  the game to play the game and have fun doing it.  Server only has 18 slots right now with minimal lag (That means with a full server, in this case being 18 slots, only one or two users will experience lag at any one given time, and that is usually a GFX card problem because your PoS computer shouldn’t be playing the game anyway .)

Some fun in World of Warcraft.

This past night I found that I could not seem to get to sleep, so I did what any dedicated gamer does: Play WoW. Now, I play Worl d of Warcraft on the Third Commune Emerald Dream RP server, yes it’s a private server, where there aren’t many people on late at night. So I went to a little known place near ironforge known as the IF Airport. From this vast land I traveled a bit, took a few jumps, and landed myself in the Wetlands, in a place that seemed all too fimilliar. I round several bends in the road and before my eyes lies the GM shop from the first server. Mostly intact I browse the wares to find that its the same as the mall we have in Darkshore.

My eyes defeat me at this point, and I must now go sleep.

A day in the life of the Archivist.

     I find myself today waking up near noon, the earliest this week, to my Siberian Husky pouncing me in the back of the face. Normally this would be no problem, but of course he would have to stay there, and lick my forehead until I got up and wrestled him down to the ground. Needless to say, ten minutes later I was ready to go back to sleep due to the effort put forth

     After getting up and tossing on a shirt, I sit down infront of my computer to find that ninety percent of the things I wanted to get done today had already been taken care of by one of my friends, which left me browsing the web, looking through my Counter Strike : Source clan’s website (Clan 119) to find that just like Third Commune, the forums aren’t up and up yet. Much sadness ensues.

     I spend the rest of my day playing WoW and checking up on some amusing websites such as Failblog and fixing up a few things here at “What the #^$%”, which brings us to the present.

Third Commune: Emerald Dream, a World of Warcraft Role Playing Experience

Hello all, your very own Archivist here to present you with a nice little bit of information.

Do you enjoy role-playing? Ever thought of Role Playing on World of Warcraft? For free?!

It’s possible my friends, and here is how:

Simply go into your C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/

Open up the realmlist.wtf

replace the line that reads: set realmlist blahblahblah

with this: set realmlist 69.65.116.50

Save the file.

If you ever want to play retail WoW again, simply delete the file or move it into another folder.

Now, from here we take a little trip over to Third Commune, where you will create your account. Tables are reset every 600 seconds (That’s ten minutes for you non-math literate people). Wait about 10 to 20 minutes and log in!

 Note: PvP is allowed, and we do have several members who could care less for RP and simply want to PvP to get better, and do raids for Strats and what-not on retail, and that’s fine, so long as you leave everyone else alone and go about your business.

Server Notes: Still in Alpha stages; Experience per kill raised to x25 retail WoW; Experience per quest raised to x35 retail WoW; GM’s will level you to 70 on request, but don’t be a dick or you will get nothing; You fuck up, you get banned, you have to deal with it.
